About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Structural Engineer to join our engineering team in Coimbatore. In this role, you will lead and execute civil and structural design calculations, analysis, and engineering deliverables for complex industrial and energy-sector projects.
Key Responsibilities
Perform structural analysis and design of steel structures and reinforced cement concrete (RCC) elements for industrial facilities.
Design and evaluate key structures including pipe racks, operating platforms, equipment support structures, modular frames, and heavy foundations.
Conduct 3D finite element modeling, static, and dynamic structural analysis using industry-standard tools.
Ensure all designs strictly comply with applicable codes (IS, AISC, ASCE, and Eurocodes).
Coordinate closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams (Piping, Process, Electrical, and Mechanical) to deliver integrated engineering packages.
Review and approve structural drawings, material takeoff (MTO), calculations, and technical reports.
Key Requirements
Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.E. / M.Tech in Structural Engineering strongly preferred).
Experience: 7–12 years of hands-on experience in structural design and analysis.
Industry Focus: Proven track record in Industrial, Oil & Gas, or Petrochemical projects.
Software Proficiency:
Advanced expertise in STAAD.Pro and/or SAP2000.
Working knowledge of connection design tools (IDEA Statica knowledge preferred).
Codes & Standards: Thorough working knowledge of IS, AISC, ASCE, and Eurocode standards.
Preferred Qualifications
Notice Period: Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods (30 days or less) will be prioritized.
Experience in connection design, steel detailing coordination, and foundation design under dynamic loading conditions.
