Interior Designer - Modular Furniture

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur for an Interior Designer specializing in modular furniture. The Interior Designer will develop creative design concepts for modular furniture layouts, including space planning and interior schemes for residential and commercial projects. Daily tasks include preparing detailed construction and installation drawings, selecting FF&E elements aligned with client requirements and brand standards, and coordinating with production teams to ensure accurate execution. The role involves collaborating with sales and project teams, attending client meetings, refining design proposals based on feedback, and maintaining design documentation throughout the project lifecycle. The Interior Designer will also support continuous improvement in design quality, materials usage, and ergonomics for modular furniture systems.
Qualifications
Strong interior design capabilities with skills in Interior Design and FF&E selection for modular furniture projects.
Proficiency in layout development and Space Planning to optimize functionality and aesthetics.
Knowledge of Architecture principles and Construction Drawings for accurate detailing and installation coordination.
Experience working with modular furniture systems, cabinetry, or panel-based designs using modern manufacturing methods.
Ability to use design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) to produce clear drawings and 3D visualizations.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients, production, and project teams.
Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
