BOQ Estimation Manager - Interior Design

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad for a BOQ Estimation Manager – Interior Design. The role involves preparing detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for interior projects, including materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures in alignment with design intent and project specifications. The BOQ Estimation Manager will review and interpret construction drawings, coordinate with designers, architects, and project managers, and ensure accurate cost estimation and budgeting. Responsibilities include value engineering, vendor and rate analysis, quantity take-offs, and maintaining up-to-date cost databases. The role also requires monitoring cost variations, supporting procurement with technical and quantity inputs, and providing timely reports to management to keep projects within budget and schedule.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Interior Design and Architecture with the ability to interpret and translate design concepts into accurate BOQs.
Proficiency in Design Management, coordinating with design, project, and procurement teams to align costs with project objectives.
Hands-on experience with Construction Drawings, including reading, reviewing, and extracting quantities from detailed plans and layouts.
Knowledge of Furniture systems, finishes, and materials relevant to luxury residential and corporate interiors.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and budgeting for interior fit-out projects, preferably in the high-end or luxury segment.
Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Excel, estimation tools) and strong numerical and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational abilities, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
