Dishwasher - One York Food Hall

Under the direction of the Back of House Management Team, our dishwashers clean and put away all dishes, glassware, utensils and pots while maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dish area and dish machines.
The day to day:
Operate dishwashers efficiently.
Wash glassware and flatware.
Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand when required.
Scour pots and pans.
Operate pot/ cutlery washing machines.
Clean and sanitize dishwasher mats, dish carts and dish racks.
Assist in receiving and stocking supplies/products.
Safely handle and store cleaning products.
General dish area maintenance including: sweeping, mopping, organization and garbage removal.
Other duties or responsibilities as assigned
Previous experience in a dishwasher or similar hospitality role is considered an asset.
Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 40 lbs.
Ability to remain standing and active for extended periods throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
Ability to follow instructions, health and safety procedures, and established sanitation standards.
Full-time availability is required.
