Assistant Manager - Public Relations

The purpose of this role is to provide account support and assistance in managing the client’s business, public relations strategy and to keep day to day activities running smoothly. Implements PR programmes, creates plans, proposals, reports, creative briefs and other communication deliverables. Works collaboratively across the agency and within the Dentsu business to ensure clients receive the best integrated public relations and communications solutions for their business.

Key responsibilities:
Works closely with managers and team leadership to help plan and execute external communications programmes
Assists in developing and executing comprehensive public relations and communications programmes to strategicially position the organisation in the marketplace
Helps manage external PR agency resources
Develops and maintains media and publication target list
Monitors media coverage
Writes press releases, news stories, articles, case studies and product pieces
Responds to enquiries from journalists, arranges interviews and editorial meetings
