Junior / Medior Financial Risk Manager (ALM & IRRBB)

As a Junior / Medior Financial Risk Manager (ALM & IRRBB), you play an important role in the oversight and management of Asset & Liability Management (ALM) risks across ING, covering both Retail and Wholesale Banking portfolios.
The role sits within the Banking Risk department, part of Financial Risk, and focuses on the management of Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB) across the ING Group. You will work closely with Treasury and Financial Risk teams across the ING Group.
Your work includes monitoring interest rate and behavioural risks, reviewing savings, mortgage prepayment and replication models, performing quantitative analyses and stress tests, and contributing to the development of ALM and IRRBB risk frameworks. You will regularly collaborate with stakeholders across the Group and contribute to strategic initiatives, regulatory developments and the continuous improvement of ING's risk management practices.

Your profile
We are looking for curious, analytical and ambitious professionals who enjoy solving complex problems and want to develop themselves in banking, balance sheet management and risk management.
Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Econometrics, Business Economics or a related discipline.
0-5 years of experience in Financial Risk, ALM, IRRBB, Treasury Risk or a related field.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to make complex topics understandable and actionable.
Strong interest in banking, financial markets and balance sheet management.
Experience with behavioural models such as prepayment, savings and replication models is considered a plus.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Comfortable working in an international environment and collaborating with stakeholders across multiple countries.
