In this role you will be a senior technical leader within the Care Services Digital & Data team, responsible for defining, governing and evolving the technical direction of the Care Services data product portfolio.
Working in partnership with Senior Product Managers, Product Managers and multi-disciplinary product squads, you will ensure that data and AI products are designed, delivered and evolved in a way that is scalable, secure, governed, reusable and aligned to customer, operational and business outcomes. You will also be a technical counterpart to the Senior Product Manager, ensuring product vision and strategy are translated into robust, sustainable and high-quality technical solutions.
How you’ll help us make health happen
Own the technical vision and technical roadmap across the Care Services data product portfolio
Partner with Senior Product Managers to ensure roadmaps balance customer needs, business outcomes, technical sustainability and platform evolution
Provide technical leadership across multiple squads, ensuring consistency of approach and alignment with strategic objectives
Act as the technical authority for complex data product design decisions
Establish and maintain standards, frameworks and best practices across the Care Services data product estate
Drive adoption of modern engineering and analytics practices across Azure, Snowflake, Power BI and associated technologies
Work closely with Product Managers, Delivery Leads, Engineers and Analysts to support successful product delivery
Manage technical dependencies across multiple products and squads
Identify opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI and advanced analytics to improve customer outcomes, operational efficiency and business performance
What you’ll bring:
Significant experience delivering complex data and analytics solutions within large-scale organisations
Experience providing technical leadership across multiple teams, products or domains.
Strong understanding of modern data architectures, cloud platforms and analytics ecosystems
Experience working with Azure, Snowflake, Power BI, GCP and associated modern data technologies
Deep understanding of data modelling, semantic modelling, metrics design and analytical product development
Strong stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills
Experience operating within Agile and product-led delivery environments
Experience evaluating and implementing AI, machine learning, advanced analytics or automation capabilities within digital and data products
Ability to identify opportunities where AI and emerging technologies can drive measurable improvements in customer, colleague and business outcomes
Knowledge of data governance, lineage, master data management and data quality frameworks
Experience supporting AI, machine learning or advanced analytics solutions in production environments
