Senior Depositary Analyst

About the role:
As a Senior Associate , you will be responsible for developing your expertise, building meaningful relationships and taking ownership for outcomes. This will be achieved through growing subject matter expertise, contributing to process improvements and offering insights based on experience. You will be open-minded and embrace change whilst valuing diverse perspectives and channelling a 'can-do' attitude. You will support business and people growth, contributing towards team initiatives and mentoring newer team members, to enable Aztec's future ambitions.
Key Role Responsibilities:
• Assume responsibility for monitoring all cash flows passing through the fund platform following the given procedures
• Assume responsibility for the safe keeping of fund assets, whether through custody or more general verification of ownership
• Identify, investigate and escalate regulatory breaches, exceptions and operational issues
• Act as a key point of contact for a portfolio of clients, AIFMs, fund administrators and auditors
• Support audit confirmation processes and regulatory deliverables
• Oversee the proper operation of the fund platform, implementing a number of ex post controls and checks to achieve it
• In conjunction with the direct line Manager, ensure that the depositary services department complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
• Coach, train and mentor junior members of the Depositary team
• Act as a higher authority on internal and external day-to-day queries
• Take responsibility for providing oversight and monitoring, including transaction reviews and documentation collection process
• Act as a 4-eyes level of review on depositary matters, ensuring Aztec policy and professional guidelines are adhered to and that a professional quality service is provided to clients and outside contacts
