This position is based in Vadodara, India as a permanent work-from-office role. The standard shift is 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM IST.
What you'll be doing
Own engineering execution including delivery, quality, and team health for a backend-heavy product team
Run hiring: define roles, lead interviews, make calibrated offers
Drive performance management: clear expectations, regular feedback, and growth plans
Partner with product and clinical stakeholders to scope work and keep commitments
Contribute to system architecture decisions and hold the technical bar across the team
Remove blockers, reduce friction, and keep the team moving with focus
Required skills
Strong hands-on background in Python/Django, React, and AWS
Systems thinker: can reason about distributed systems, failure modes, scalability, and long-term design tradeoffs
Track record managing engineers in a product company — shipping features, not just maintaining processes
Strong communicator: written and verbal, up to leadership and across to peers
Organized under ambiguity — can manage multiple workstreams without losing detail
Nice to have
Background in healthcare, compliance-heavy, or data-sensitive domains
Exposure to AI-assisted development tooling and how it changes team velocity
