Telesales Advisor

As the voice of our brands, you'll engage with warm leads over the phone, helping readers discover subscription options that suit their needs while overcoming objections, and delivering strong sales outcomes.
There is no cold calling involved, and with ongoing coaching, achievable targets and a friendly team behind you, you'll have everything you need to succeed.

About the role:
You’ll work Monday to Thursday from 1:00pm to 6:00pm, with additional Friday shifts from 11:00am to 4:00pm potentially available. No weekend work is required.
In this role, you will:
Conduct outbound calls to potential and existing customers, building rapport and engaging them in meaningful conversations.
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products and subscription options.
Present promotions and newspaper subscription packages with confidence.
Use effective sales techniques to overcome objections, close sales and achieve targets.
Accurately record customer information and sales activity in our CRM system.
About you:
A persuasive communicator with a friendly and professional phone manner.
Confidence engaging with a wide range of people and building strong customer relationships.
A positive attitude and openness to feedback, coaching, and ongoing learning.
A motivated, result-driven approach to achieving sales targets.
Reliable, organised, and excellent time management skills.
Previous experience in customer service, sales or call centre is beneficial, but not essential.
