Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Site Civil Engineer role based in Bengaluru & Hyderabad. The Site Civil Engineer will oversee daily construction activities, ensuring that work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Responsibilities include coordinating with contractors and suppliers, monitoring progress against project plans, and resolving site-related technical issues. The role involves supervising site measurements, inspecting materials and workmanship, and maintaining accurate documentation such as reports, logs, and as-built records. The Site Civil Engineer will also support safety compliance, assist in planning and scheduling, and communicate regularly with project managers and stakeholders regarding status, risks, and required actions.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Experience working as part of Civil Engineers teams on-site, including coordination with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
Skills in Planning and project scheduling, including tracking progress, resources, and timelines.
Knowledge of Stormwater Management and related infrastructure, such as drainage, grading, and erosion control.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
Experience in site execution for roads, buildings, utilities, or similar civil works, preferably in an urban environment.
Familiarity with relevant local building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Proficiency in basic engineering and planning tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office; exposure to project management software is an advantage).
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to work independently while collaborating effectively with on-site teams.
Willingness to be present on-site in Bengaluru, with flexibility to adapt to changing project needs and timelines.
