Role Description The Team Lead Last Mile role is a full-time, on-site position based in Navi Mumbai. The person in this role will oversee daily last-mile delivery operations, including managing delivery teams, assigning routes, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. Responsibilities include monitoring performance metrics, resolving operational issues, coordinating with warehouse and logistics teams, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The Team Lead will also handle shift planning, supervise adherence to standard operating procedures, and ensure safety and compliance with company policies. This role involves reporting on delivery performance, recommending process improvements, and supporting training and development of delivery staff.
Qualifications
Solid understanding of logistics or last-mile delivery operations and experience supervising frontline teams.
Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle routing, scheduling, and daily delivery planning.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and managing delivery staff.
Problem-solving skills to address delivery delays, customer concerns, and on-ground operational challenges.
Comfort with basic digital tools and systems used for tracking deliveries, performance metrics, and reporting.
Ability to work on-site in Navi Mumbai and be hands-on in day-to-day operational oversight.
Prior experience in e-commerce, courier services, logistics, or transportation is highly beneficial.
Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is an advantage.
