Role Description The Senior SAP BODS Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Central Delhi. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing SAP BODS data migration and integration solutions to support complex business processes. Day-to-day activities include gathering requirements from stakeholders, analyzing source and target systems, creating ETL jobs, and managing master data transformation. The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP and non-SAP systems, troubleshoot data-related issues, and improve data quality and performance. The role also involves providing expert consulting guidance, documenting technical solutions, mentoring junior team members, and supporting project delivery within agreed timelines and standards.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to assess data structures, identify issues, and design efficient BODS ETL solutions.
Consulting experience in SAP projects, with the ability to translate business needs into technical designs and guide stakeholders.
Expertise in business process understanding, especially in SAP environments, to align data solutions with operational workflows.
Hands-on experience with master data management, data cleansing, and data governance practices.
Proficiency in integration concepts, including SAP BODS integration with SAP ERP/S4HANA and other enterprise systems.
Extensive experience as an SAP BODS developer/consultant, including job design, performance tuning, and error handling.
Solid understanding of relational databases, SQL, and data warehousing concepts.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Ability to collaborate in on-site project teams, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and work independently when required.
Experience with other SAP data and integration tools (such as SAP Data Intelligence or SAP CPI) is an advantage.
