RISE Mechanical Engineer

The RISE Engineer, Rotations at Intuitive Science and Engineering, completes 4 x six-month assignments across various functions and business units to complete a 2-year program. The program provides accelerated learning and development experience along with acquisition of product knowledge, technical skills, and professional development. Some of the assignment rotations may include product design, manufacturing engineering, equipment engineering, supplier engineering, and process engineering. At the conclusion of the RISE program, participants will have the opportunity to interview for any available permanent positions within the organization for which they are qualified.
Essential Job Duties
Support key technical projects across the business units.
Transfer of project knowledge and key information to other RISE Engineers.
Network with mentor and other Intuitive employees for greater organization understanding and growth.
Attend RISE training sessions for increased technical and soft skills.

Strong technical ability to grasp new concepts and apply to problem-solving /solutions
Self-starter with the ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
Ability to follow manager guidance and work direction, meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong writing and Microsoft Office skills
Proficient using SolidWorks
Flexible and open-minded
Ability to communicate effectively (written, oral)
Required Education and Training
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, or Biomedical Engineering or related degree
