Occupational Safety Specialist

Conducting regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OHS regulations,
Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures,
Investigating accidents and incidents and implementing corrective actions,
Providing safety training to employees,
Preparing reports and maintaining accurate records,
Collaborating with management and employees to create a safe work environment.

Occupational Health and Safety Certificate, relevant BcS degree (preferably forest industry or chemicals production related bachelor’s degree).
Fluency in English is required.
Minimum 3 years of experience in HSE department, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of fire safety and fire systems is a plus,
Strong communication and problem-solving skills,
Ability to work independently and as part of a team,
Valid driver's license,
Flexibility to work varying hours and field areas as required.
