Quality Inspector

Wage: $22.00-$25.00 hourly
NPX is looking for a Quality Inspector to join our team! In this hands-on role, you’ll help ensure the quality and reliability of medical device components by performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
You’ll work with a variety of inspection and measurement tools, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support quality investigations and continuous improvement efforts. Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience: Minimum 6 months in medical device manufacturing – Ideally, 1+ year of experience.
Skills:
·Ability to read and interpret sampling and inspection plans
·Good organizational and communication
·Basic mathematics
·Detail oriented and organized
·General computer operations (e.g. Excel, Word)
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Support and perform inspection and testing of materials and products from incoming material through final assembly, ensuring
compliance with specifications and quality standards
· Conduct visual, dimensional, and/or functional inspections of raw materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products in
accordance with approved specifications and applicable quality standards
· Perform duties with minimal to moderate supervision
· Utilize measurement tools and equipment (e.g., pin gages, calipers, MicroVu, laser micrometers, pull testers) to verify physical
dimensions and product attributes
· Verify that all measurement equipment is within current calibration status
· Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials
· Complete quality records, reports, and documentation in accordance with GDP (Good Documentation Practices)
· Apply and follow established sampling plans
· Participate in problem-solving activities and contribute to process and product evaluations for continuous improvement
· Provide data, analysis, and support to cross-functional teams as needed
· Support site objectives related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory
· Achieve assigned goals and performance objectives
· Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
