Customer Service/Courier

We're looking for an enthusiastic and detailed oriented Customer Service Representative/Courier to support all operations related to incoming samples, picking up samples, dropping off samples, providing support for internal/external customers. In addition to operations, supporting receptionist desk, answering incoming calls and providing support for internal/external customers. CSR will partner with members of the Customer Service and Operations teams.
Responsibilities:
Enter samples into the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
Manage incoming/outgoing couriers; process return samples to customers in a timely manner.
Back up for Courier, picking up and dropping off client samples
Provide additional support to the Customer Service team and intercompany departments
Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8am-5:30pm
This position works with companies that deal with defense-related activities and is subject to the highest level of ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations). All considered applicants must be a U.S. Citizen.
3+ years Customer Service experience.
Excellent professional, verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
SAP or other CRM database experience a plus.
Clean driving record to be courier supporting possible 5-6 hours of driving if necessary.
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position requires movement inside the office or laboratory to access file cabinets, machinery, equipment etc.
Ability to continuously operate a personal computer or lab equipment for extended periods of time (4 or more hours).
Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate a keyboard and other lab equipment, use a telephone, access file cabinets and other items stored at various levels, including overhead.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Must be able to lift a ~25lbs box or package for a short period of time.
Ability to speak and hear well enough to communicate clearly and understandably with sufficient volume to ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance, over the telephone, and in a group setting.
Learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, make timely decisions in the context of a workflow, ability to communicate with visitors, ability to complete tasks in situations that have a speed or productivity quota.
