Transportation Clerk **Seasonal

Ensure dispatching of loads to all carriers and brokers
Oversee the entire transportation process from our shipping docks to the final customer location
Monitor and report driver issues such as accidents, safety concerns, or weather issues
Work closely with sales, shipping, claims, and other departments to problem solve and find solutions involving transportation matters
Work well within our Transportation team and Customer Service
Ensure trucks are checked-in and have correct pickup numbers
Participate in Carrier Score carding
Help the team achieve key performance metrics
High School Diploma
1-2 years’ experience preferred
Must maintain excellent attendance
Strong decision-making abilities
Clear communication skills with the ability to talk to all levels of our organization
Advanced computer skills required with preference in Oracle Warehouse Management and Oracle Transportation Management systems
Analytical and strategic thinking skills with proven problem-solving ability
Basic knowledge of DOT trucking regulations preferred
