Role Description The Mechanical Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Khandala. The role involves designing mechanical components and assemblies for formwork systems and electric motor-related applications, using CAD tools and standard engineering practices. Day-to-day tasks include preparing detailed drawings and 3D models, performing basic calculations and design checks, collaborating with production and quality teams, and updating documentation throughout the product lifecycle. The engineer will review customer requirements, support prototype development and testing, and provide technical input for cost-effective design improvements. The role also includes troubleshooting design issues, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and participating in cross-functional meetings to support timely project delivery.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Design Engineering and Machine Design for industrial and construction-related applications.
Candidates should possess solid Mechanical Engineering knowledge, including materials, manufacturing processes, and structural fundamentals.
Candidates should possess experience in Product Design, with the ability to translate requirements into practical, manufacturable solutions.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) for 2D and 3D modeling.
Relevant engineering degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and standards, and to prepare clear documentation.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively on-site with cross-functional teams.
Prior experience in formwork, industrial structures, or electric motor assemblies is an advantage.
