Position Responsibilities
The Quality Assurance Engineer will be a key member of the Leostream Technical team, which is central to the success of our organization and our global clients. The QA Engineer executes tests, plans test strategies, sets up test environments, documents defects, and reports on test progress and release readiness.
Note that this is a manual testing-focused role. Specific responsibilities include:
Execute manual tests for new features and product releases. Test and verify bug fixes.
Investigate, reproduce, and document defects using system logs, network traces, and cross-platform testing.
Maintain structured test documentation and release validation checklists.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to refine requirements, improve testability, and ensure high-quality releases.
Develop expertise with Leostream products and other technologies in the fast-growing remote-access market segment.
Set up and maintain test environments and configurations to support development and QA efforts.
Special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum 4 years in software QA with a focus on manual testing.
Working knowledge of Windows and Linux system administration is required.
Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls) is required.
Strong written and spoken English skills are required.
Experience with at least one identity or authentication system (SAML, LDAP/AD, RADIUS, MFA concepts) is preferred.
Experience working with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or cloud providers (AWS, Azure) is preferred.
Ability to analyze logs, system behavior, and network captures for troubleshooting is preferred.
BS in Computer Science or related field preferred.
Strong emphasis will be placed on problem-solving skills, personal initiative, and communication skills.
Able to ramp up quickly on new technologies and deliver precise, reliable testing under shifting priorities.

Compensation
Salary range: $90,000 - $100,000* based on experience and work location.
*Bonus potential of up to 15% of base salary, is based on individual performance (up to 5% paid annually) and company performance (up to 10% annually, paid quarterly).
