Role Description The Business Development Manager – Exhibition is a full-time, on-site role based in Dwarka. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in exhibition stand design, fabrication, and related event solutions, while nurturing and expanding relationships with existing clients. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting client meetings and presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating contracts in alignment with company goals. The manager will collaborate closely with the design, production, and project management teams to translate client requirements into feasible solutions and ensure smooth execution. The role also involves market research, participation in industry events, pipeline tracking, and regular reporting on sales performance and business growth initiatives.
Qualifications
Proven experience in business development or sales within exhibitions, events, or experiential marketing, with strong client acquisition and relationship management skills.
Solid understanding of exhibition stand design, fabrication processes, and event production, with the ability to interpret client briefs and propose suitable solutions.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with corporate clients, agencies, and decision-makers.
Ability to conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and build a healthy sales pipeline using CRM or similar tools.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a focus on meeting targets, managing multiple projects, and ensuring timely follow-ups.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent specialization is an advantage.
Comfort working in an on-site, fast-paced environment in Dwarka, with willingness to travel for client meetings, exhibitions, and events as needed.
Knowledge of branding, signage, retail displays, and event solutions is beneficial, along with familiarity with Pan-India and international execution practices.
