Role Description The Freelance Writer will be responsible for creating clear, accurate, and engaging written content related to personal and business loan services. Day-to-day tasks may include drafting website content, marketing copy, blog posts, social media updates, and client communication materials that explain loan products, eligibility, and application processes. The role involves researching financial topics, understanding loan-related terminology, and aligning content with regulatory and brand guidelines. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring close collaboration with the sales and marketing teams to support lead generation and customer education. The writer will also help refine messaging, review existing materials, and ensure consistency of tone and style across all communication channels.
Qualifications
Ability to write clear, concise, and grammatically correct content in English for digital and print channels.
Strong research skills, especially in financial services, banking products, and loan processes.
Basic understanding of marketing principles and an interest in creating persuasive, customer-focused copy.
Attention to detail, including the ability to proofread and edit content for accuracy and consistency.
Comfort working on-site in Bengaluru and collaborating with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, marketing).
Time management skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Prior writing experience in financial services, banking, or lending environments is an advantage.
