Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Refrigeration Sales Engineer based in Vijayawada. The role involves identifying and pursuing sales opportunities for refrigeration systems and solutions, engaging with prospective and existing clients, and understanding their technical requirements. The Refrigeration Sales Engineer will prepare proposals, assist with system design discussions, support pricing and quotation activities, and coordinate with internal engineering and service teams to ensure successful project execution. Day-to-day tasks include client meetings, site visits, technical presentations, follow-up on leads, and maintaining accurate sales and customer records. The role also requires monitoring market trends, providing feedback on product performance, and supporting after-sales service to maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in refrigeration, HVAC, or mechanical engineering, with the ability to understand and explain technical specifications and system designs.
Sales and business development skills, including lead generation, client relationship management, negotiation, and closing deals in an engineering or industrial context.
Ability to conduct site assessments, interpret drawings and technical documents, and collaborate with engineering and service teams on solution configuration.
Clear and professional communication skills for technical presentations, proposal writing, and regular interaction with clients and internal stakeholders.
Proficiency in basic office and productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation software) and comfort maintaining accurate records in CRM or similar systems.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration, HVAC, or a related technical field is preferred.
Prior experience in refrigeration or HVAC sales, project coordination, or field engineering will be an advantage.
Ability to work on-site, travel locally for client visits, and manage time effectively in a target-driven environment.
