Role Description The Autocad Drafter role at Gourangaa Hospitality is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Autocad Drafter will prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD and related design tools, translating design concepts into clear, buildable documentation. Day-to-day tasks include creating and updating architectural drawings, shop drawings, and construction details; coordinating with architects, project managers, and site teams; and ensuring that all drawings comply with company standards and local regulations. The role involves reviewing design changes, maintaining drawing records, and supporting the project team with accurate documentation throughout the design and construction phases.
Qualifications
Strong technical drawing and general drawing skills, with proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
Experience preparing shop drawings for construction, fabrication, or installation purposes.
Ability to produce and interpret architectural drawings, including plans, sections, and elevations.
Understanding of basic architecture principles and building design standards.
Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
Attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and ability to follow design specifications and guidelines.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams on-site.
Previous experience in hospitality, commercial, or residential projects is an advantage.
