Role Overview
We are looking for a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer to drive sales of Munsch pumps and related engineering solutions. You will engage with existing and prospective customers to understand technical requirements, propose suitable pump solutions, and manage the sales cycle from initial inquiry through to order closure.
Key Responsibilities
Promote and sell Munsch pumps to industrial and manufacturing customers across assigned accounts and territory.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations on pump selection, application, and performance.
Respond to product and application queries, providing accurate technical guidance.
Coordinate with internal engineering and production teams to ensure correct solutions and on-time deliveries
Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for installed pumps.
Manage customer feedback, maintain sales documentation, and contribute to sales forecasts and pipeline updates.
Identify new business opportunities and build long-term customer relationships.
Support after-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Product Focus:
The role centers on representing Munsch pumps — a manufacturer of chemical process pumps engineered for demanding, corrosive, and aggressive media handling. Candidates should be able to (or be trained to) speak confidently on:
-Vertical and horizontal centrifugal pumps forcvarious industrial applications.
-Magnetic-drive (seal-less) and mechanically sealed pump ranges.
-Materials of construction for corrosive/abrasive media (e.g., PP, PVDF, PE, PFA)
-Pump selection based on flow, head, chemical compatibility, and operating conditions.
Qualifications
Strong Sales Engineering skills — solution-based selling, translating technical features into customer value.
Solid Technical Support capabilities — troubleshooting, application guidance, coordination with engineering teams.
Effective communication — clear written/verbal skills and confident technical presentations.
Proven Sales and Customer Service skills — relationship management, negotiation, professional query handling
Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline preferred.
Experience with mechanical/industrial products or systems, ideally pumps or fluid-handling equipment, within manufacturing or engineering environments.
Willingness to work on-site in Vasai, manage multiple accounts, and travel locally for customer visits.
Proficiency with basic office and CRM software; strong attention to detail; collaborative, cross-functional approach.
