What you’ll do
Build and execute targeted sourcing strategies by applying a deep understanding of talent distribution and market mapping.
Lead data-driven conversations with senior leaders, translating complex hiring metrics into actionable narratives that influence direction.
Navigate the messiness of competing priorities and shifting business needs to scale technical teams across North America.
Actively advocate for candidates by aligning their unique motivations and skills with team missions and Uber’s broader business strategy.
Collaborate cross-functionally with recruiters and hiring managers to troubleshoot the assessment process and remove friction points.
Champion a high-quality candidate experience, ensuring every interaction reflects a commitment to excellence even when the pace is intense.
Basic Qualifications
4+ years of professional experience in sourcing and recruiting.
Experience in technical sourcing within a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in technical sourcing specifically focused on high-level engineering roles.
Proven ability to use funnel data and market insights to drive strategic hiring decisions.
Experience in building diverse candidate pipelines and fostering an inclusive workforce.
Strong systems thinking and the ability to navigate high-ambiguity situations with resilience.
For New York City, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $122,000 per year - USD $135,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $122,000 per year - USD $135,000 per year.
For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $110,000 per year - USD $122,000 per year.
For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
