Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Engineer role based in Puducherry. The Junior Engineer will assist in day-to-day engineering activities, including supporting production operations, monitoring equipment performance, and helping implement process improvements. Responsibilities may include preparing technical documents, maintaining records, coordinating with senior engineers and supervisors, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role will also involve basic troubleshooting of machinery or systems, participating in inspections, and providing feedback to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess foundational engineering knowledge in a relevant discipline (e.g., mechanical, electrical, industrial, or production engineering).
Candidates should possess basic skills in using engineering tools, instruments, and software (e.g., MS Office, spreadsheets; familiarity with CAD or similar tools is an advantage).
Candidates should possess strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills to support technical investigations and reporting.
Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with engineers, technicians, and operations staff.
Candidates should possess a commitment to safety, quality, and adherence to standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is preferred; prior internship or industry exposure in manufacturing or engineering environments is an added advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Puducherry and adapt to shift-based or flexible schedules as required by operations.
