Enterprise Architecture Vice President

Role Description This full-time, remote Enterprise Architecture Vice President role is responsible for defining and leading the organization’s overall technology architecture strategy and roadmap. The role oversees enterprise-wide architecture standards, ensures alignment between business objectives and technology investments, and guides application and data architecture decisions across multiple platforms and teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with business and technology leaders, reviewing and approving solution designs, providing architectural guidance to software development teams, and establishing governance processes and best practices. The Enterprise Architecture Vice President also evaluates emerging technologies, manages architectural risk, and ensures scalability, security, and interoperability of systems. This role involves mentoring architecture professionals, driving continuous improvement, and communicating architectural vision and guidelines to stakeholders at all levels.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Enterprise Architecture and Architecture, with a track record of designing and implementing organization-wide technology frameworks.
Proficiency in Application Architecture and Software Development, including experience guiding complex, distributed applications and modern development practices.
Advanced skills in Data Modeling, with the ability to design scalable, secure, and well-structured data solutions supporting analytics and operational systems.
Experience leading architecture functions at the senior or executive level, including defining strategy, standards, and governance processes.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making across the organization.
Demonstrated experience working in remote or distributed teams, with strong collaboration, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge of cloud platforms, integration patterns, security best practices, and enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, data platforms).
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
