Majesco Digital1st Portal Developer/Configurator- Immediate Joiner

Key Responsibilities
Analyse business requirements and participate in solution design.
Configure digital portals using the Majesco Digital1st platform.
Customize user interfaces (UI) and workflows based on client requirements.
Integrate Digital1st applications with:
Majesco Core Insurance Systems
Third-party applications
REST APIs and web services
Perform impact analysis and estimate development effort.
Execute code/configuration deployment across different environments.
Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues.
Support testing activities, including unit and integration testing.
Coordinate with the Digital1st platform team for issue resolution and new feature implementation.
Mentor junior developers/configurators and ensure adherence to development standards.
Required Technical Skills
Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
Programming knowledge in Java or PHP.
Basic SQL and database query skills.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web technologies.
Experience with REST APIs and web service integration.
Understanding of insurance business processes (Property & Casualty, Life & Health) is an advantage.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
Good communication and stakeholder management.
Ability to work in Agile teams.
Experience in production support and performance tuning.
Knowledge of cloud-based applications and microservices is beneficial.

Debug and resolve application defects.
Participate in sprint planning, design discussions, and code reviews.
Deploy changes to test and production environments.
Collaborate with QA, business analysts, and client teams.
