Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Frontend Developer role located in Salem. The Frontend Developer will transform design concepts into responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using modern web technologies. Day-to-day tasks include building and maintaining web pages and components, integrating APIs, optimizing frontend performance, and ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility. The role involves collaborating with designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to refine requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality releases. The developer will also participate in code reviews, follow best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of the frontend codebase and development processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in core web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Candidates should possess experience with modern frontend frameworks or libraries (for example, React, Vue, or Angular) and component-based development.
Candidates should possess skills in responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and basic accessibility standards (WCAG or similar).
Candidates should possess familiarity with version control tools and workflows, such as Git and branching strategies.
Candidates should possess understanding of consuming RESTful APIs, handling JSON data, and integrating frontend with backend services.
Candidates should possess knowledge of performance optimization techniques, including bundling, code splitting, and asset optimization.
Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to debug and resolve UI and UX issues.
Candidates should possess effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in an on-site environment.
A relevant degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
Experience with testing frameworks, UI libraries, or design systems, and an interest in staying current with frontend best practices, is an advantage.
