In Argentina (Remote / Hybrid) within the IT & Software Engineering industry, we are actively seeking a Senior or Semi-Senior Backend Developer to strengthen our team dedicated to building scalable, high-performance digital solutions and robust microservices architectures.

In your role you'll become a vital member in a team of skilled professionals, including software engineers, architects, and product specialists focused on delivering modern, event-driven systems. Your primary responsibility will involve designing, developing, and optimizing high-throughput backend services using Node.js and AWS infrastructure. This is you
Solid experience as a Backend Developer working with Node.js, TypeScript, and modern frameworks like NestJS or Express.
Hands-on expertise with Event-Driven Architecture and messaging platforms (specifically Apache Kafka) for asynchronous processing.
Strong knowledge of Cloud infrastructure and containerization, particularly AWS (Lambdas, EKS / Kubernetes, Multi-Region) and Docker.
Proven experience working with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis.
Solid understanding of core architectural principles, including Clean Architecture, SOLID, DDD, and Microservices.
Nice-to-have Skills:
Experience using Serverless Framework.
Familiarity with AI-Assisted Engineering tools (such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot) integrated into daily development workflows.
Previous experience in global projects or distributed remote teams.

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Node.js backend services and APIs.
Implement clean code principles, event-driven patterns, and scalable microservices architectures.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, cloud engineers, and product managers to deliver end-to-end features.
Ensure optimal system performance, code quality, and integration of automated testing and deployment pipelines.
