Senior Cloudflare WAF Consultant

We are looking for 3 Senior Cloudflare WAF Consultants to strengthen the Cloudflare WAF Support & Operations team in chennai,India.
Incident & Ticket Management
Manage Cloudflare WAF incidents, service requests, and change requests through ServiceNow.
Resolve operational tickets within defined SLAs.
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for security incidents and application access issues.
Coordinate with Application, Infrastructure, Network, and Security teams.
Participate in major incident calls and provide technical support during outages.
Cloudflare WAF Operations
Monitor Cloudflare security events, alerts, and dashboards.
Investigate blocked traffic, false positives, and application issues.
Configure and fine-tune Managed Rules, Custom Rules, Rate Limiting, and Bot Protection.
Analyze WAF logs and security analytics.
Support application onboarding and offboarding.
Change Management
Implement approved changes through ServiceNow.
Perform WAF policy updates, ACL changes, SSL certificate modifications, and DNS updates.
Conduct pre-production and post-implementation validation.
Support maintenance activities and production cutovers.
Troubleshooting
Troubleshoot DNS, SSL/TLS, HTTP/S, application connectivity, and Cloudflare Tunnel issues.
Analyze traffic routing and security policy problems.
Review network traces, HTTP/S traffic, and Cloudflare logs.
Security Administration
Manage WAF rules, firewall policies, IP lists, rate limits, and bot mitigation controls.
Support DDoS protection and attack mitigation.
Implement security baselines and approved exceptions.
Ensure Cloudflare configurations meet security standards.
Monitoring & Reporting
Monitor service health and security posture.
Prepare weekly/monthly operational reports.
Track incidents, onboarding status, change success rates, and security metrics.
Maintain operational dashboards and KPIs.
Documentation & Governance
Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge-base articles.
Update architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
Participate in security reviews, audits, and compliance activities.
Support risk assessments and security exception processes.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Cloudflare WAF.
Experience with ServiceNow Incident, Request, Problem, and Change Management.
Experience supporting Cloudflare WAF in an enterprise / 24x7 environment.
Strong troubleshooting skills in:
DNS
SSL/TLS
HTTP/S
Load Balancing
Application Security
Knowledge of:
Cloudflare WAF
DDoS Protection
Bot Management
Zero Trust
Cloudflare Tunnel
Experience working with Azure, AWS, on-premises, and enterprise application environments.
Strong incident management, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
