Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Facade Designer role based in Pune. The Facade Designer will develop detailed facade concepts, translate architectural intent into practical exterior solutions, and prepare technical drawings and documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating shop drawings, coordinating with project teams, reviewing design specifications, and ensuring facade systems meet structural, safety, and performance requirements. The role involves working with cladding and glazing systems, resolving design and site issues, and supporting project execution from design development through installation. The designer will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, attend project meetings, and contribute to continuous improvement of design standards and best practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in facade design, with experience in Facade and Facade Design for building exteriors.
Candidates should possess skills in shop drawings, including the ability to prepare, review, and coordinate detailed Shop Drawings for construction.
Candidates should possess knowledge of cladding systems, with practical experience in Cladding materials, detailing, and installation methods.
Candidates should possess expertise in glazing systems, understanding Glazing design, performance, and integration with other facade components.
Proficiency in CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) for technical drafting and 3D coordination.
Degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
Understanding of relevant building codes, safety standards, and facade engineering principles.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
