Role Description The Senior Manager role at Kotak Mahindra Bank is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhubaneshwar. The Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing branch or business unit operations, driving revenue growth, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day activities include managing and mentoring team members, setting performance objectives, monitoring key metrics, and implementing strategies to improve customer acquisition, retention, and service quality. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, reviewing risk and credit decisions, and preparing regular business reports and action plans for senior leadership. Qualifications
Strong leadership and people management skills, including team supervision, coaching, performance management, and stakeholder collaboration.
Solid expertise in banking and financial services operations, such as retail or corporate banking, credit and risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in business development and customer relationship management, with the ability to drive sales targets, enhance customer experience, and build long-term client partnerships.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, including comfort with financial data, reporting, forecasting, and using insights to make strategic decisions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal capabilities.
Relevant academic background, such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field.
Prior experience in a managerial role within banking or financial services, managing teams and business portfolios, preferably in a branch or regional leadership capacity.
