As a Carpenter you are responsible for designing, constructing, and repairing structures. This role will complete building construction, maintenance, and repair projects as needed, using a variety of materials, such as wood, steel, masonry, etc. Projects to include, but are not limited to, doors, hardware, trim, and drywall. This role will also inspect equipment, structures, and materials for defects to identify issues, and repair as needed, use blueprints to prepare project layouts and determine materials needed for current and future projects and prepare estimates of project cost, logistics, and timeline for completion. Critical for success is the ability to give attention to detail and work well independently.

What it takes:
5+ years of carpentry, building construction, or related experience
Mechanical aptitude and extensive experience with power tools
Proficient in reading blueprints or shop drawings
Estimating experience
OSHA 10-hour certification, or the ability to obtain within one month
Must possess a valid drivers license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven, and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team
