2. About the Opportunity:
The Asset Management Specialist with Cascade experience is responsible for supporting the implementation and management of utility asset management programs using DNV Cascade 4 software. This role serves as the primary technical and programmatic contact for clients, ensuring alignment with their operational goals and assisting with long-term asset management planning and optimization. The position is designed to enhance client asset management effectiveness and operational performance remotely.
3. Responsibilities:
Support implementation of DNV Cascade 4 asset management software
Develop, execute, and manage utility asset management programs
Act as primary technical and programmatic contact for assigned clients
Assist clients with long-term asset management planning and program optimization
Develop training materials and best practices for asset management programs
Train users on Cascade Asset Management software
Maintain accurate asset records including acquisition, disposal, and maintenance history
Manage asset inventory and ensure proper accounting of assets
Develop and implement asset maintenance schedules and procedures
Monitor and report on asset performance and utilization
Develop and implement asset disposal policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Provide guidance on asset management issues to other departments
4. Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
Minimum 5 years experience in electric utility asset management or related field
Proficiency with DNV Cascade software, Microsoft Office, and business enterprise software
Basic knowledge of electric utility industry concepts including engineering, construction, and maintenance standards
Understanding of basic engineering theories and principles
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Effective facilitation, teamwork, collaboration, and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and communicate status effectively
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
Capability to work both remotely and from an office as required
Ability to pass post-offer drug and alcohol testing in compliance with federal regulations
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Salary range: $80,000–150,000 annually, dependent on experience, qualifications, and location
