Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Hyderabad. The Interior Designer will collaborate with clients to understand their needs, develop design concepts, and create detailed layouts for residential and commercial spaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, preparing drawings and specifications, selecting finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment, and coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is executed. The role involves site visits, measurements, and supervision of installation work, along with preparing presentations, mood boards, and material boards. The Interior Designer will also support budgeting, timelines, and documentation to keep projects on schedule and aligned with client expectations.
Qualifications
Strong Interior Design skills, including concept development, material selection, and finishes.
Proficiency in Space Planning and Architecture-related coordination for functional layouts.
Ability to produce accurate Construction Drawings and detailed design documentation.
Experience with FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection and specification.
Working knowledge of design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and MS Office.
Attention to detail, creativity, and ability to balance aesthetics with practicality and budget.
Strong communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to present and explain design ideas clearly.
Ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors.
Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; relevant experience in residential or commercial interiors is preferred.
