Snowflake Data Engineering Intern

Job Summary
ArisData.ai is looking for motivated Snowflake Data Engineering Interns interested in building a career in cloud data engineering, analytics, and Snowflake.
Interns will work alongside experienced Snowflake engineers and architects on hands-on projects involving data pipelines, SQL, Python, data modeling, cloud platforms, and modern data engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Learn and work with the Snowflake Data Cloud platform.
Develop SQL queries and data transformations.
Assist in building and testing ETL/ELT data pipelines.
Work with Python for data processing and automation.
Support data ingestion, transformation, and data quality activities.
Learn Snowflake concepts such as Warehouses, Databases, Schemas, Roles, Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks, and Dynamic Tables.
Assist with data modeling and data warehouse development.
Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
Work with Git and basic CI/CD development practices.
Collaborate with Snowflake engineers and architects on project assignments.
Required Skills
Good understanding of SQL.
Basic programming knowledge in Python.
Understanding of databases and relational database concepts.
Basic knowledge of data structures and programming fundamentals.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong willingness to learn new technologies.
Preferred Skills
Exposure to any of the following is a plus:
Snowflake
Data Engineering / ETL
AWS, Azure, or GCP
Data Warehousing
Power BI, Tableau, or other analytics tools
Git / GitHub
Academic or personal projects involving data, Python, SQL, or cloud technologies
Education
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Final-year students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for candidates with strong fundamentals, curiosity, and the ability to learn quickly. Previous professional Snowflake experience is not required.
Candidates should be comfortable demonstrating their SQL and Python fundamentals and discussing academic, personal, internship, or technical projects they have worked on.
