Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Site Accountant role based in Hyderabad. The Site Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations at the project site, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and monitoring site-related expenses. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing vouchers, handling vendor invoices, coordinating with procurement and site management teams, and assisting with budget tracking. The role also involves supporting month-end closing, reconciling accounts, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations, and preparing periodic financial reports for management. The Site Accountant will collaborate closely with project leaders to provide accurate, timely financial information that supports site operations and decision-making.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of site-based accounting, including journal entries, ledgers, and expense tracking.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with the ability to generate and interpret financial reports.
Understanding of budgeting, cost control, and basic financial analysis in an industrial or construction environment.
Familiarity with accounting standards, taxation basics, and compliance requirements relevant to manufacturing or project sites.
Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with site, procurement, and finance teams.
Ability to work independently at an on-site location, manage multiple tasks, and meet reporting deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
Prior experience as a site or project accountant, ideally within industrial, construction, or manufacturing sectors, is preferred
