Role Description The Manager Civil is a full-time on-site role based in the Greater Delhi Area, responsible for overseeing civil works from planning through execution and completion. Daily activities include managing project schedules and resources, coordinating with engineers, site supervisors, and contractors, and ensuring adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The role involves supervising stormwater and drainage-related works, conducting regular site inspections, resolving technical issues, and preparing progress reports and documentation. The Manager Civil will monitor quality and productivity, support procurement and contractor management, and liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities to ensure smooth project delivery. This position requires strong leadership, clear communication, and hands-on involvement at project sites.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
Candidates should possess expertise in stormwater management and related drainage, sewer, and flood mitigation systems.
Candidates should possess team leadership capabilities to guide site engineers, supervisors, and contractors and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
Candidates should possess inspection skills for monitoring construction quality, safety compliance, and adherence to design and regulatory standards.
Candidates should possess infrastructure-related experience in roads, utilities, structures, and civil works within urban or semi-urban environments.
Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Working knowledge of civil engineering codes, standards, and local regulations, especially in the Greater Delhi Area.
Proficiency in construction documentation, reporting, and use of basic engineering and project management software tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively on-site and with external stakeholders.
Prior experience in a managerial or senior site role in civil construction or infrastructure projects is highly beneficial.
