Hiring: Senior .NET Application & Accessibility Consultant
📍 Location: Remote – Candidates must currently be located in Indiana
⏳ Duration: 6+ months, with potential for extension
💼 Job Type: Contract
We are looking for a Senior .NET Application & Accessibility Consultant to support the modernization and accessibility remediation of enterprise web applications and reporting solutions.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET/.NET Core, Telerik, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Conduct accessibility audits and remediate applications to meet WCAG 2.1/2.2 Level AA, ADA, and Section 508 standards
Perform accessibility testing using NVDA, WAVE, and automated scanning tools
Identify and resolve accessibility issues directly within complex C#/.NET application code
Modernize and maintain legacy .NET web applications
Audit legacy Crystal Reports and develop accessible PDF reporting solutions
Create tagged and accessible PDFs, including proper reading order and structural elements
Leverage GitHub Enterprise Cloud Copilot and Anthropic Claude for code analysis, refactoring, documentation, and test generation
Work with modern DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
🔹 Required Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core
Enterprise web application development experience
Strong JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 skills
Experience with Telerik UI
Hands-on experience with WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA, ADA, and Section 508
Experience conducting accessibility audits and implementing code-level remediation
Experience with NVDA, WAVE, or similar accessibility testing tools
Strong understanding of accessible web interfaces, semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, ARIA, forms, tables, and screen-reader compatibility
Experience with accessible/tagged PDFs, reading order, and structural elements
Experience with Crystal Reports or similar enterprise reporting technologies
🔹 Preferred Qualifications
Experience with GitHub Enterprise Cloud Copilot
Experience with Anthropic Claude
Experience with CI/CD and modern DevOps practices
Experience converting legacy reports into accessible PDF formats
