Role Description The Civil Supervisor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Haryana, India. The Civil Supervisor will oversee day-to-day civil construction activities, including monitoring work at site, coordinating with contractors and workers, and ensuring that construction is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and safety standards. Responsibilities include supervising site operations, checking quality of materials and workmanship, maintaining site records and daily progress reports, and identifying and resolving issues that may affect timelines or quality. The role involves regular communication with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to report progress, highlight risks, and support timely completion of milestones. The Civil Supervisor will also ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and health and safety requirements.
Qualifications
Strong Supervisory Skills and experience in Site Supervision, with proven ability to manage on-site teams and coordinate daily construction activities.
Hands-on experience working On Site, with familiarity in field conditions, site safety practices, and adherence to project schedules.
Knowledge of Quality Control procedures, including inspection of materials, verification of work against drawings and standards, and documentation of compliance.
Effective Communication skills to interact with workers, contractors, engineers, and management, and to prepare clear reports and updates.
Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related field, with experience in infrastructure, road, or transportation projects preferred.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications, and to use basic construction measurement tools.
Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to construction sites, with a commitment to safe work practices.
Proficiency in basic computer tools (e.g., MS Office) for reporting and documentation; local language skills and English proficiency are beneficial.
