Why this role matters
GrabAGun's email and SMS channels are critical drivers of customer engagement, promotional performance, and revenue. The Email & SMS Marketing Manager will own the strategy and execution of these channels, ensuring customers receive relevant, timely, and compelling communications throughout the customer lifecycle.
This role will work closely with Marketing, Merchandising, Catalog, Purchasing, and Creative teams to turn products, promotions, and business priorities into effective customer communications.
What you'll do
- Own the daily execution of email and SMS campaigns from planning through deployment.
- Build and maintain weekly and monthly promotional communication calendars.
- Develop compelling messaging across firearms, ammunition, accessories, and promotional offers.
- Manage audience segmentation, targeting, personalization, and automated customer journeys.
- Monitor deliverability, engagement, conversion, revenue, unsubscribe rates, and overall channel performance.
- Partner with Marketing, Merchandising, Catalog, Purchasing, and Creative teams to identify promotional opportunities.
- Develop and execute A/B testing strategies across subject lines, offers, creative, timing, frequency, and audience segments.
- Analyze campaign performance and use data to continuously improve engagement and revenue.
- Maintain a strong understanding of firearms industry products, brands, terminology, promotions, and customer behavior.
- Manage multiple campaigns and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and consistency across all customer communications.
What you bring
- 3+ years of experience in email, SMS, lifecycle, CRM, or e-commerce marketing.
- Strong knowledge of the firearms industry, including products, brands, terminology, and customer behavior.
- Experience with email and SMS marketing platforms such as Listrak, Klaviyo, Bloomreach, Braze, Attentive, or similar platforms.
- Strong copywriting and communication skills with the ability to create compelling promotional messaging.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate campaign data into actionable improvements.
- Experience working in a high-volume e-commerce environment.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple campaigns, projects, and deadlines in a fast-moving organization.
- Experience with Klaviyo or Listrak is strongly preferred.
