Clinical Research Intern – Site Development & PI Outreach

Sina Medical Trials is seeking a motivated Clinical Research Intern who wants hands-on exposure to the clinical research industry.
This is an educational internship designed to introduce the intern to clinical trial operations, research site development, Principal Investigator (PI) identification, and physician engagement.
The intern will work alongside experienced clinical research professionals and learn how community-based physicians and medical practices become involved in clinical trials.
No previous clinical research experience is required.
What You’ll Learn
During the internship, you will receive exposure to:
The clinical trial lifecycle and how studies are conducted at research sites
The responsibilities of Principal Investigators, research coordinators, sponsors, and CROs
How research sites identify and evaluate potential investigators
Clinical trial feasibility and site-selection concepts
Physician and medical-practice research
Professional communication within clinical research
Site development and research-network growth
Basic regulatory and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) concepts
Hands-On Learning Activities
As part of the learning experience, the intern may:
Research physicians and community medical practices that could potentially participate in clinical research
Identify physicians by specialty, geographic area, and potential research interests
Help develop and maintain a prospective PI/contact database
Observe and assist with professional physician outreach
Help prepare introductory information about clinical research opportunities
Participate in discussions about whether a physician or practice may be suitable for clinical trials
Observe introductory meetings with physicians when appropriate
Learn how potential investigators progress from initial contact to research-site consideration
