Our DFW client is seeking a Nutrition Labeling Technician for a 100% remote contract opportunity. In this role you will assist with the capturing of nutrition, allergen, and ingredient data with other product characteristics for menu labeling, retailing labeling, or consumer awareness needs. Candidates must be local for equipment. NO C2C.
Must have experience using Trustwell ESHA Nutrition software for labeling and nutrition panel generation; on-going remote position
KEY RESPONSIBILITES AND DUTIES
Request spec data including nutrition, ingredient statement, allergens, claims, etc. for various products from suppliers or pull from supplier websites or programs
Contact and clarify any discrepancies with the supplier.
Enter data into software systems such as nutritional software, labeling software, or developed programs
Develop nutritional panels and other labeling information required
Format and sent final layout information to applicable parties
“MUST HAVE” SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Microsoft Office skills especially Excel proficiency
Strong mathematical aptitude
Detail oriented and organized
Spelling and grammar proficiencies
Strong research skills for web based inquiries
