Dhuni Worldwide is an early-stage technology company building Verification Infrastructure for Commerce.
We are solving a difficult systems problem at the intersection of software, data, security, AI and the physical world.
The product is not the interesting part of this role.
The systems are.
We are looking for an exceptional engineer to join our core technical team leader and help determine how those systems should be designed, built, secured and scaled.
We are early.
That means there is significant technical surface area still to shape.
That's the opportunity.
The Role
We are hiring a Core Systems Architect / Principal Engineer with exceptional systems thinking and strong hands-on engineering ability.
This is a high-ownership role.
You will work directly with the Founder on technically important problems across:
Architecture → Backend → Distributed Systems → Security → Cloud → AI/ML
You will not always receive a detailed specification.
Sometimes you will receive a problem, a set of constraints and an expected outcome.
Your job will be to determine:
What should we build?
Why should we build it that way?
What could fail?
How do we make it reliable?
How does it scale?
Then you will help build it.

Someone who can:
see the system as a whole
identify the right abstractions
challenge assumptions
go deep into implementation
recognize architectural risk early

raise the engineering standard around them
The right person should be equally comfortable discussing a system at the architecture level and reviewing production code at the implementation level.

You are not expected to be an expert in everything.
We are looking for depth, range and exceptional technical judgment.
Technical Depth
Strong experience in several of the following areas is expected.
Systems
Distributed systems, systems design, event-driven architecture, data modelling, concurrency, consistency, fault tolerance, scalability, performance and reliability.
Engineering
Strong hands-on ability in one or more of:
TypeScript /Js/ Node.js · Python · C/C++ · Go · Rust · SQL
We care about fundamentals and engineering depth more than a technology checklist.
Cloud & Infrastructure
Production experience with modern cloud environments and areas such as:
AWS / GCP / Azure · Containers · CI/CD · Infrastructure as Code · Networking · Observability · Reliability · Security
Security
Strong understanding of areas such as:
Applied cryptography · Digital signatures · Hashing · Key management · Identity and access control · Secure protocols · Threat modelling · Data integrity
AI / ML
Practical experience with areas such as:
Machine Learning · LLMs · Multimodal AI · Computer Vision · Anomaly Detection · AI agents · Model integration · AI infrastructure
You should also understand an important distinction:
AI can assist a system. It should not blindly define truth in a system whose purpose is verification.
Technical Leadership
This is not a management-only position.
You will lead through technical judgment and execution.
You should be capable of:
Owning complex technical initiatives
Making and defending architecture decisions
Reviewing critical code
Mentoring strong engineers
Establishing engineering standards
Identifying technical risk early
Making long-term trade-offs
Communicating clearly across technical and business contexts
The role can grow with the person.
