Role Description The Visa Counselor will provide end-to-end support to clients seeking study, visitor, work, and immigration visas, guiding them through eligibility assessment, documentation, and application filing. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting consultations, explaining visa requirements and procedures, preparing and reviewing forms, coordinating with clients to collect necessary documents, and maintaining accurate records of applications and follow-ups. The role involves assisting with university and course selection for study abroad applicants, liaising with internal and external stakeholders as needed, and ensuring timely updates to clients on the status of their applications. The Visa Counselor will also contribute to maintaining compliance with relevant guidelines, delivering high-quality customer service, and supporting outreach or informational activities when required. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara, Gujarat.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong client-facing and communication skills, including clear spoken and written English and the ability to explain complex processes simply.
Candidates should possess organizational and administrative skills, such as attention to detail, document management, and accurate record-keeping for multiple applications.
Candidates should possess advisory and counseling skills, including aptitude for understanding client goals, assessing eligibility, and recommending suitable visa or study options.
Candidates should possess basic research and analytical skills to stay updated on visa regulations, admission requirements, and destination country policies.
Candidates should possess problem-solving and time-management skills, with the ability to handle deadlines, prioritize tasks, and resolve client queries efficiently.
Relevant experience in visa counseling, immigration consultancy, or education counseling is beneficial.
A bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably in fields such as business, humanities, or related areas, is advantageous.
Familiarity with international education systems, study destinations, and visa processes for major countries is an added advantage.
