Speech & Language Therapist (In-House Clinical Operations)

We're backed by leading UK investors, and we're looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our in-house clinical team.
The Role
You'll run parent consultation calls, work out what a child actually needs, and pair them with the right therapist from our network - helping turn a worried first enquiry into a clear plan.
It's an in-house role rather than one that carries a caseload, reporting to the founders and working closely with our Chief Clinical Officer.
Alongside the family-facing work, you'll build the things that make our services better: parent and therapist resources, clinical guidance, and support for the associates delivering therapy day to day. So clinical judgement you can explain in plain language, and the instinct to write things down clearly, matter enormously.
Just as important, you'll have direct input into how our service is designed and built. How we screen, how we assess, how we communicate, what our tools should do etc. - these are live decisions, and you'll be a therapist in the room while we make them.

What you'd do
Deliver parent consultation calls - asking the right questions, listening to concerns, explaining what's going on in plain language, and setting out what support would look like
Triage referrals to pair each family with the right therapist from our network
Create parent-facing and therapist-facing resources - handouts, activity ideas, explainers, guidance
Support the associate network with clinical and professional queries
Pick up the general clinical work a growing service throws up - reviewing content for clinical accuracy, sense-checking processes, maybe occasional direct sessions
About you
Essential
HCPC registered SLT
2+ years post-qualification experience, paediatric
Comfortable with a broad paediatric caseload: speech sound disorders, DLD, early language, social communication
Strong parent communication — can explain clinical reasoning warmly and without jargon
Confident working remotely and independently, with excellent written communication
Happy in a small, fast-moving team where things aren't fully built yet
Desirable
RCSLT member
Experience of independent practice or the private sector
Resource creation, training delivery, or supervision experience
Interest in how technology can support clinical work
Demonstrable experience of using AI productively
