Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Physiotherapist role based at SRT POLY CLINIC in Chittoor. The Senior Physiotherapist will assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver physiotherapy interventions for a range of musculoskeletal, neurological, and post-surgical conditions. Daily responsibilities include conducting detailed clinical evaluations, supervising and guiding junior physiotherapists and support staff, monitoring patient progress, and adjusting treatment programs as needed. The role involves maintaining accurate clinical records, educating patients and caregivers on exercises, rehabilitation goals, and preventive care, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. The Senior Physiotherapist will also contribute to clinical protocols, quality improvement initiatives, and may participate in community awareness or patient education programs.
Qualifications
Strong clinical expertise in physiotherapy assessment and treatment across musculoskeletal, neurological, and rehabilitative care.
Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and use of physiotherapy equipment and modalities.
Demonstrated ability to mentor, supervise, and support junior clinicians and therapy assistants.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Solid documentation and organizational skills, including maintaining treatment notes and patient records.
Ability to work independently, manage a varied caseload, and make sound clinical decisions in a busy outpatient setting.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution; relevant professional registration/licensure as required by local regulations.
Several years of post-qualification experience in clinical physiotherapy, preferably with exposure to a multi-specialty clinic or hospital.
Commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing professional development, and adherence to ethical and safety standards.
