Role Description The Sales Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Agartala, responsible for guiding prospective learners through The Career Lab’s programs and helping them make informed enrollment decisions. On a day-to-day basis, the Sales Consultant will handle inbound and outbound inquiries, conduct consultations to understand individual career goals, and present suitable program options and outcomes. The role includes explaining course structures, fees, and placement support, managing follow-ups, and maintaining accurate records in CRM or sales tracking systems. The Sales Consultant will collaborate closely with mentors and operations teams to align candidate expectations with program delivery, contribute to sales targets, and support ongoing improvements in the learner experience.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Sales Consulting and Consulting skills to assess learner needs and recommend appropriate programs.
Candidates should possess Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service skills to ensure a positive, supportive experience throughout the enrollment lifecycle.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening.
Candidates should ideally have experience in education, training, or career services sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Candidates should demonstrate proficiency with basic office software and CRM tools, along with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
A bachelor’s degree in any discipline is preferred; prior experience in consultative selling or student counseling is an advantage.
Candidates should be comfortable working on-site in Agartala, collaborating in a team environment, and engaging with diverse learner backgrounds.
